The authorities refuse to reveal where they fired into the school. This map clearly shows that they fired into the library, which is where the majority of the students were killed. The yellow lines emanating from the upper left area are trajectories of bullets fired by law enforcement. Notice that the two longest lines extend down to a row of computer stations. Students were hiding under these desks. In fact, the bullet trajectories end at the station under which the late Kyle Valesquez was hiding. This is not to say that law enforcement killed him, however. The official cause of death for Valesquez is shotgun pellets, which would rule out the long-range shots from the authorities. The longest trajectories appear to indicate that the bullets passed above the desk and lodged in something behind the computer, although this is open to interpretation. Thus, we see that law enforcement fired approximately nine shots into the library, with two reaching the area where many of the students were hiding. |
